Urban Darkness is available for download via iTunes and Spotify - the perfect festive gift for a loved one. Possibly.
I still get a buzz out of knowing my music is being used on TV shows around the world, what a great way to earn a living! Here's a quick list of some of the UK/US TV programmes that included my stuff in 2011:
Fifth Gear, Relocation Relocation Relocation, Escape to the Country, Embarrassing Bodies, Miami Ink, Wheeler Dealers, How Stuffs Made, Real Crime with Mark Austin, Chic Eats, Fantasy Homes by the Sea, Alaska Most Extreme, Ray Mears Heroes of Telemark, Flog It, The Ugly Face of Beauty…
Urban Darkness - Drama, Tension, Beats released by new production music label Score this month. Inspired by the numerous Reality TV shows dedicated to paranormal investigation (Most Haunted, Derren Brown Investigates, Ghost Hunters etc), the music also draws influences from popular dramas such as the CSI series.
Ded Good Music release Dirty Science (DED132) "Shadowy, brooding soundscapes and edgy, techy grooves delve and probe the darker side of science." Take a listen to the track "Dogstar" from the album in the music player.
Just completed work on a forthcoming release with The Ded Good Music Library. Some quite gritty sounds were needed and I made full use of some excellent patches in Spectrasonics Omnisphere and Trillian libraries, along with copious amounts of distortion and general mashing-up in Peak. I'll post examples as soon as it's prudent to do so.
The Ded Good Music Library release Lifestyle 2.
Described as "an essential and refreshing mix of cool and groovy contemporary vibes.
Functional and definitive music for aspirational modern living."
It's amazing what a six-pack of Red Bull does for the creative process!
